ATB: (all terrain bikes): For lovers of mountain biking, there are numerous signposted VTT (Vélo Tout Terrain) trails. They are often categorised into difficulty levels, equal to those in skiing: black, red, blue, and green. This way you can use your experience to the difficulty level of the mountains. The green trails are ideal for the whole family. Did you get caked in mud? No problem, we have a wash area for you to clean your bicycles and a covered area to park them. We also have a small workshop for essential repairs.
Cycling: Fans of demanding climbs are seduced by the challenging Vosges mountain passes with famous names like: Grand Ballon (1325m), and the Ballon d’Alsace (1165m) which have often seen the Tour de France passing by. But there is much more to cycling in the Vosges than exhausting climbs! A very varied landscape rolls ahead of you, extensive forests, gorgeous views, typical Vosges farms, picturesque villages to name but a few.
La Voie Verte: Do you prefer a more flat route? La Voie Verte is a route that leads over a tarmac cycle path. (Actually they are 2 routes of 80 km all together). A path that used to be a railway track which now is exclusively for bicycles, and inline skaters, and in the winter it is used as a cross country ski trail.
Bicycle shed: Your bicycles are save in our spacious and covered shed, with a small workshop, repair stand and a washing area for the bikes.
Dinner service: If you wish, we can prepare meals for you. Of course we take into account what cyclists need; every morning an extensive breakfast buffet, in the evening a changing 3-course dinner, prepared with fresh products.
