We are Jan & Ria de Groot, who originate from Holland and are lovers of an active outdoor life.  We fell in love with the Vosges Mountains, not only because of the breathtaking nature, but also the many exciting activities it has to offer.  Whether it's walking, cycling, skiïng or riding on a motorbike. We would very much like to share our enthusiasm for the area with you, and enjoy helping you put your ideal holiday programme together.  We feel that with La Vieille Colonie, we have found a unique location for our guests to have a fantastic holiday. Where else would you find a holiday house for large groups in such beautiful surroundings?

The former owners, the Lourme family made this former children’s holiday house into a unique 3 storey accommodation for groups with all the comforts from home.  We hope to continue and further extend their high level of service and facilities here at La Vieille Colonie in order to give you and your group an unforgettable holiday.
